HOW TO HELP

Cliffgate's Home for Fiendish Friends will function as a quest hub/employment opportunity/fun place to stream for all of our friends in Sin City. We're going to get out of this what we put into it, so let's put all those beautiful creative minds together and make this place fun for everyone involved!

There will be MORE TO COME in the future, but for now these are the primary quests we'll be working on:

✨ BRING RAJIGO HOME: This is the main quest!! We want to build the sanctuary up for Rajigo to eventually come and stay in a forever home. Please let me know if you have a character who is a builder, who specializes in monster cuisine, or who can do miraculous things with a shovel! Anything you can think would be necessary to bring our titanic goddess into the sanctuary, please write in below so that I can pitch all of our ideas to fabulous sheepmod.

✨ TIDYING UP THE PLACE: In general, I'm going to treat this as if it's our IC version of Stardew Valley. The sanctuary has been BADLY shaken in the move and it's up to all our friends to help out! Whether it's repairing a roof or mending a fence or planting some beautiful gardens for our monsters to play in, grab your hoes (not those ones) and let's get to work!

✨ CELEBRITY CHARITY STREAMS: It's gonna take a looooooooot of money to feed all these monsters. What's the best way to raise funds in this day and age? Collab streams! If your character is more into the streaming life, you can write in here and have full access to the sanctuary for a tour and one-on-one time with the monsters and anything else you can think of! You can also request Karlach to provide the tour and monster education, but this is something I'm happy to let you run wild with either way!

✨ MONSTER HUNTING: Take off across the galaxy and hunt down monsters in their natural environment! If you have an idea for a monster you'd like to see at the Sanctuary, comment below with a brief rundown of how you might acquire it. Are you going to sedate and transport a dragon who has been terrorizing a village? Save a tressym caught in a tree? Did your character fish some tribbles out of an abandoned spacecraft? Not only will you be able to hang with your monster whenever you'd like, but I'll put a special commemorative note about your adventure up on the AMBASSADOR PAGE!

✨ JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Keep an eye out for these, but for now, I'd love some permanent volunteers! Karlach will offer convenient lodging at KARLAND RANCH to anyone who is willing to dedicate their time to the sanctuary -- have fun waking up to dragons peering into your bedroom!

✨ IT'S OUR HOME: I'd be happy to hear any ideas the community has for this place. I want to make it our own! Feel free to ask your questions below or pitch anything you like and I'll happily bring it to the sheepmod if necessary.

Karlach will supply Kikuri with alllllllll the booze she can handle in gratitude. And keep the kitchen fully stocked with those 'hangover cures' just in case!

I'm thinking it'd be wonderful to use Kikuri's musical talents to help Rajigo get settled in eventually. If you'd like a kicking off point for a stream of your own, maybe she could write a song for her? But please feel so free to do whatever you like and use any of the monster ambassadors/locations around these pages to your heart's content!!

okay so here are my two visions:

1: thancred keeps having to fight rowdy monsters as part of their daily enrichment. he is their meat-stuffed pumpkin rolled into their enclosure.

2: something should imprint on him and follow him around constantly because it's fucking funny. bonus points if it's like 20 times his size and a total abomination and he just has to put up with being its government-assigned mom now.

1. they're MONSTERS, of course they're not going to eat out of bowls! they need to hunt and chase and delight in the thrill of the kill! and it only makes sense to send the best out to be human bait. ;)

2. pick a monster, any monster. (corgberus especially i think would be fucking hilarious -- it'll try to lick his soul a lot.) OR if you'd rather make one up, feel free to have thancred organize an acquisition and you can make a whoooooole story up about how he saved it and it imprinted in that moment or whatever your heart desires!

The notorious monster puncher is also totally up for fighting monsters and bringing them in, and eventually I want him to perma-volunteer to play with the monsters, especially the big, scary ones!

thancred brought up a cute idea which is to feed the monsters, you need to use yourself as bait so they get the thrill of the hunt and the exercise along with their meal. he can do that, and anything else you can dream of! plz plz go as wild as you like with all the monsters/locations around here!

Mikumo can help out with charity streams and monster hunting missions - she's already used to operating on different planets with different environmental factors, so that'll probably be a help.

😭 how cute would it be to have all the land monster acquisitions go to the ranch and the water ones go to mikumo's aquarium too. Maybe she can grab some fancy jellies from off world!

Also toki and Nathan want a big ass aquarium in the house & k will definitely ask for mikumo's help with that too.

Feel free to use ANY of the monsters/locations around here for mikumo's streams or whatever you like too!! Of course karlach would let her have full run of the place whenever she wishes.

Nathan would love, love, love to get involved! There is nothing more brutal than monsters, and if he has to get a real job someday, he can't imagine any better job than chilling with whacky creatures all day.

So...

- Full-time volunteer (if you have the room for him!)
- Tidying up (even if he doesn't like cleaning and won't do it for his own sake, he'll clean if it means the monsters will have a nice place to live)
- Monster hunting (because hell yeah!! He'd probably enlist Toki and/or Kikuri to utilize the power of music to lure new creatures over to them for capture/safe transport. Though I haven't reached out to him yet, I think even teaming up with Homelander for a monster mission could be fun because they have... beef... about this.)

He can be official Rajigo feeder once we get her! Since K was so impressed that one time he fed himself to her.

He and Toki can stay at the ranch if they'd like their own space, K's put aside a spot for all her roomies and whoever they'd like to bring! They've got a recording studio they can use here too... Unfortunately not a fully kitted one, but good enough to stream and she'd be happy to upgrade for them!

And I'M DYING at the prospect of y'all pied pipering more monsters into the sanctuary, yes please. Here's your official pass to go off the fucking rails with it, just let me know if you need monsters added to the page!

Also your sidequest is teaching Homie the beauty of monsters coz wtf!!
