SIGN UPS: FREAK THE SINTERNET DANCE CHALLENGE
Think you've got what it takes to go head-to-head with the hottest stars of the Sinternet? YOU BETTER WORK, BITCH.
EXPERIMENTAL??
HEAR ME OUT.... A few people expressed interest in trying some experimental new ways of utilizing DW to simulate the EXPERIENCE of being on apps like Tiktok or Youtube. (Ye Olde Youtube, IYKYK.) This is my first shot at it, I really hope you'll join us, be creative, GET SOME TASTY REWARDS, and have a lot of fun playing in a new, very low-key way!
THIS IS NOT A STANDARD ROLEPLAY LOG.
The name of the game will be issuing challenges to your fellow players, REACTING to your fellow players, showcasing you and your partner's creative chops, and branching out to CR you might not otherwise have the opportunity to make -- all in one handy-dandy post! Think of it like the Ice Bucket Challenge, where content creators would call out fellow influencers to recreate the challenge and get their fans excited to see more content on those creators' channels.

WHAT DO I NEED??
1. A dance. It does not have to be a Tiktok dance. Get creative! Does your character want to show off a cultural dance from home? Do you play a fighter who might want to try their hand at capoeira? Maybe you just want to do a trendy contemporary dance, but your character paired with someone who can hit a split while yours moves like one of the animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's! Have fun with all the possibilities, go wild in whichever direction you'd like, this is the time to really make a scene and bait some big reactions!
2. A partner. (Please note that I reserve the right to approve solo/group projects depending entirely upon whether or not I find the concept entertaining.) Don't have one? I got you, boo, head on down to Wallflowers and post there. Please bring a dance, an idea, anything we can use to determine good pairings. You can wait for me to pair you or peruse the Wallflowers for a partner on your own, just please post to the QUEUE below if you do so that I can remove your listings!

HOW WILL IT WORK??
Mikumo & Karlach will issue a dance challenge to the SINternet on 8/10/24. I will post the official IC log then and queued participants will be divided into categories. All tag-ins will be done under your assigned category following the steps below:
Step One: PAIR yourself up and post your dance to our SIGN-UP QUEUE. If you don't have a partner, post to Wallflowers and you can either find one for yourself or wait for me to pair you with one.
Step Two: GET TAGGED. You will be tagged both IC (using our SINternet @ tags) and OOC (on this post here)! When your turn in the queue is up, you will be TAGGED IN on your post in the queue and provided with a link to the post you're going to react to. Starting from the date that you were tagged, you now have 2 WEEKS to...
Step Three: REACT to the post that tagged you! By now, SINfluencers will know that the more outrageous their reaction, the more clicks and views! You can play into that, or simply acknowledge the post and move on to...
Step Four: DANCE. RP learning your dance! RP arguing about which dance you'd like to pick! You have two weeks, think of something fun!
Step Five: TAG OUT to the next pairing in queue by dropping their IC @usernames! I'll let you know who they are ahead of time -- have fun with it! Talk some smack, get them hype! Otherwise, if your two weeks expires before then, I will come in and tag them for you, or you can choose to handwave and tag the next pair at any point after you have been tagged in.

The rule is: if it's being filmed/streamed/posted to the public, it goes into the IC Log. If you want to play out the process of learning your dance or deciding on your dance or whatever in a separate log in another place, go right ahead! Milk this for all the fun it's worth!

Not necessarily! You cannot re-queue with the same partner until everyone else has gotten a chance to feature, but you can still pair with Wallflowers or re-queue with a different partner! If you'd like to volunteer to help everyone else get moving, please do! Fellow players will really appreciate you for it.

Of course you can! Please let me know by responding to my tag post in the Queue and we'll work out how to handle it together. This is truly meant to be easy, smooth, and fun for everyone involved and I completely understand that life can happen.
DEAR GOD WHEN DOES IT END??
Just like any internet trend, whenever everyone collectively loses interest. It would be really fun to keep it going for as long as possible! The nature of it is that everyone will have a little chunk of time for themselves to shine, and I hope that we can all join together in supporting our fellow players for their time in the spotlight. There will be a comment section for non-participants to play along with too!
